VACUUM EXCAVATION

What is vacuum excavation? This is a process which is often referred to as NDD (Non Destructive Digging) and it works by jetting water into the ground at the end of the vacuum nozzle which the high powered suction then removes the softened dirt to a holding tank on board the truck. This eliminates hours of digging holes and trenches that are generally much wider than actually necessary and there are no great big piles of dirt or clay.

Another reference term for Vacuum excavation is Hydro Excavation which explains the technique in just two words. It is one of the safest methods of excavation technology developed to date as it allows for the excavation and/or exposure of virtually any structures and infrastructure without affecting its integrity together with an absolute minimal impact on the environment
